Mom finds her baby dead

SOUTHERN DIVISION police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a five-month-old baby girl yesterday. Tiny Tia Hosein’s lifeless body was discovered on a makeshift bed at her Marabella home, by her mother, Seema Hosein, around 1.30 pm yesterday. Hosein told police that around 1 pm, she fed her baby and left her sleeping on a bed. She said when she checked on the infant a half-an-hour later she found that the baby’s body was cold and stiff. Hosein told the police that her baby was not suffering from any illness, but did have physical contact with her brother-in-law who had died from tuberculosis a few months ago.
