UNC needs new propaganda minister

THE EDITOR: After listening to the utterances of Wade Mark in Parliament and on TV to the effect that the two ferry boats the Panorama and the Beaufort were not insured for passenger service, and then later reading in your newspaper of September 23, 2003 on page 29, a denial by the Port Authority supported by documentary evidence that both ferryboats were fully insured for transporting passengers and crew up to July 18, 2004, I have come to the conclusion that no one can ever believe anything Wade Mark says publicly.

Wade Mark reminds me of the German Propaganda Minister Gobbels who during the 2nd World War continuously misinformed and misled the German people throughout the war even up to the time of the invasion of Normandie and the entry of the Allies into Germany itself, fooling the German people, and getting youths to join the German armed forces and to sacrifice their lives, instead of surrendering and ending the war. Mr Panday and the UNC must find a new propaganda minister to replace Wade Mark, as he has completely lost his credibility, and no one will ever believe anything he says in future.
