Man killed near Despers

A man was shot and killed yesterday afternoon near the Desperados Panyard in Laventille. Reports are that Bobby Bowen, 28, was approached by two men and shot in the stomach. Police are investigating. Bowen was employed as a delivery man for a cooking gas supplier.
