$150,000 jewelry heist in San Fernando

TWO gunmen yesterday staged a daring daylight robbery at a southern jewelry store and escaped with over $150,000 worth of jewelry. The drama unfolded around 11.30 am when the armed bandits stormed Dulans Jewelry Store, High Street, San Fernando, and announced a hold-up. The proprietor’s wife, Dularie Dulan, who was alone in the store, was shoved to the ground by one of the gunmen. They then smashed one of the glass showcases and grabbed seven trays which contained different types of jewelry. The gunmen ran out of the store and escaped in a waiting car. Officers of the San Fernando CID are continuing investigations.
