Unity launch Over-35 football

OVER $2,800 in prize money will be at stake when Paramount National Unity stage their inaugural over-35 football league. The new league is scheduled to kick off at the Aranguez Savannah, San Juan, tomorrow, and will continue until mid-December. Winners will collect a $2,000 cheque, while the runners-up get $500 and third $300. Apart from the cash, there will be prizes for the Best Player, Most Disciplined Team, Most Goals, Most Valuable Player and other team and  individual awards.

And according to club president/coordinator Anthony “Cheetah” John-son, teams will have to pay nothing to enter. He said his is a “pay nothing, win something league.” Interested clubs are advised to contact Johnson 683-5215, secretary Dave Gibson 686-3868 or Kurt Bradshaw 686-3868.
