NWRHA probes missing baby’s body

An investigation has been launched into the disappearance of the body of the  deceased new-born baby of Earline Owen from the mortuary of the Port-of-Spain General Hospital.

Sunday Newsday had reported Diego Martin mother-of-six, Owen, had requested the body for burial, but was told the body could not be found. Information reaching this newspaper is that the body was thought to have been accidentally incinerated. A NWRHA source yesterday told Newsday that the Authority has launched an investigation into the matter, and could not comment until its completion.
