One unconscious after fight

A 34-year-old man is warded in a critical condition after he was struck with a piece of iron on his head following an argument with a co-worker yesterday.

Acbar Wells, a Ramco employee of Los Bajos, is said to be in an unconscious state at Ward 3 of the San Fernando General Hospital. Another employee, 36, is assisting police in their enquiries. According to police reports, around 12.05 Wells and the co-workers had an argument over a work related matter at their workplace at Cross Crossing, San Fernando. The co-worker is said to have armed himself with a piece of iron and struck the man on his head, knocking him unconscious. Wells was rushed to the hospital. PC Gary Santlal of the San Fernando CID is continuing investigations.
