So many lights emitting one glow
The deyas are in sight
So many races light up Trinbago
The colours are so bright
As deyas illuminate the bleaky way
We will all bask in the glow
And light the darkness of hate away
For a brighter Trinbago
The lights will show that we are one
And there’s no turning back
Together we will all share the morn
When light conquers the dark
Let Divali be Trinbago’s saving grace
A beacon in the night
To where every race find an equal place
Because we’ve seen the light
Come let’s fill our deyas all with oil
Come let our love lights shine
Let us kindle one love on our Trini soil
