$10,000 robbery at KFC
The search is on for four bandits who made off with $10,000 in cash as well as a firearm, after a daring robbery at a Port-of-Spain KFC outlet.
According to police reports, the four masked men entered the KFC outlet located at the corner of Park and Frederick Streets, Port-of-Spain, shortly before midnight on Saturday. The men announced a hold up, and relieved the security officer on duty of his service revolver. They then proceeded to rob the outlet of $10,000 in cash, before making off on foot. The security guard who is attached to Heller Security Services, employees and customers present at the time of the incident, all gave statements to officers of the Port-of-Spain CID, who are continuing investigations.
