A treat for the eye and ear

THE EDITOR: Congratulations and thanks to the Cable Company for enriching its transmissions, and the lives of many with Classic Arts Showcase (CAS) a truly unique channel of film and video clips of the arts, culled from sources all over the world. The spectrum of enjoyment includes samplings of animation, architectural art, ballet, chamber and choral music, dance, folk art, opera, recitals etc. CAS is a treat for the eye and the ear — intellectually stimulating, spiritually soothing, and a scintillating portal and jump-off point for all who pursue musical adventure. In fact, classical have no boundaries of time, space, race or appreciation. I am sure he would include the large audience of TT viewers, when CAS co-founder and President Lloyd E Rigler said in a recent letter to me, “We’re most appreciative of your remembering our anniversary, and your loyalty in watching us over the years.”
