Hint that something is wrong

THE EDITOR: People dial 911 in the midst of a crime. Police state that they either have no vehicle or will get there when they can, like two-three hours later, after the crime has been committed. What can the police do two or three hours later? Is something wrong with this picture? How many police to a station? How many vehicles to a station? How prepared are they to handle an emergency? What is the leadership doing to prepare them for an emergency; to ensure there are vehicles; to ensure that they could respond immediately.

Ask why leaders are allowed to go on vacation while other commoners are afraid to leave their homes. Leaders need to work 24/7 to respond to crime or don‘t go home, much less for a vacation. Time for sleeve rolling. Recommendations by an expert are great, however, enforcing it is the challenge. Time for leadership to pass emergency bills and take action.
