Venezuelan shot by fake cops
A 46-year-old Venezuelan man was shot twice by two men posing as police officers.
Reports revealed that around 8 pm on Wednesday, Francisco Golono, who is staying at a house at Warner Village, Charlieville, was called out by two men who claimed to be police officers. Reports state that Golono was handcuffed and shot twice in the legs. The men fled the scene empty handed. A report was made to the Chaguanas police and a party of officers led by Cpl Ruby Villafana and PC Chris Langley went to the scene and conducted investigations. Golono was rushed to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he was treated and warded. A search was carried out for the suspects to no avail.
