Arima eye East Zone Intercol crown

ARIMA will be fancied to take home the East Zonal crown in the RBTT Intercol tournament, when they oppose St Augustine in today’s final at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar, Arima.

Kick-off time is 4 pm. In the East Zone of the British Gas Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL), the “Dial Dynamos” Arima defeated the “Green Machine” 2-1 on September 13 and 7-0 on October 4. Arima have depended heavily on their three-man strike force of Gorean “Mickey Rat” Highley, Dorian Daniel and Devon King so far this season, and the trio are expected to lead from the front as the hosts vie for their second title this year, following their retention of the SSFL East Zone crown. St Augustine have relied exclusively on Shane Calderon for their success, and will need to be at his best to stop the rampaging Arimians.
