Petrotrin director denies ‘hit list’

Petrotrin director, Anthony Chan Tack, yesterday denied any knowledge of a hit-list of 22 executives dubbed by a document as “UNC activists in positions of influence,” 20 of whom are to be replaced, reclassified, redeployed, or made redundant. Reacting to media reports which had labelled him a “hatchet-man,” Chan Tack told Newsday: “Like most of Trinidad and Tobago, I am seeing the list for the first time. I have had absolutely nothing to do with it. I have referred the matter to my attorneys, to determine the next steps.”
