Yes, there are efficient police
THE EDITOR: On September 7 2003 at around 9.15 am I parked my car outside Hi Lo West Mall and went for my morning walk. As I was returning, I saw my car being driven towards me. A good Samaritan used her cell phone and called the police. On my way to the Four Roads police station, the police mobile division called back to say I must go and make a report.
All this transpired within 15 minutes. As I was walking into the police station, my car was being followed by the police and was recovered. Yes there are efficient police! Sincere thanks to the following officers: #11866 PC Lashley, #13570 PC Miller of the Port-of-Spain Special Unit, #12988 PC Vaugh Joseph Detective Four Roads, also from Four Roads, #14493 PC Chase, #16533 PC A Bhagwandee, #16068 WPC Kaminee Baijoo, Morvant, #6339287 Sgt Ramsubnas, Cpl Hannays, and PC Ramnarjne. Sorry I took so long to say thanks, but as you can see I do remember, and I am very grateful.
By the way two things regarding driving safely and a warning from me:
1. If you hit my car while you are driving with a cell phone stuck to your ears, I will have you charged for driving without due care and attention.
2. If you flash your lights and in so doing, help a speeding car to get away from the speed trap and that person hits someone down the road, you are morally responsible, also!
