Bandits steal Jenny’s wines

Thousands of dollars in fine wines, alcoholic beverages and furniture were stolen from the popular Jenny’s Wok Restaurant yesterday morning. According to reports around 1 am yesterday one of the proprietors Sharma Basdeo secured the businessplace, located at Victoria Village, Cross Crossing. Another relative, Kumar Basdeo arrived around 8 am to open the restaurant. He discovered a window on the southern side of the building broken and signs of forced entry. Upon entering the restaurant he noticed that several thousands dollars worth in wines, other alcohol and furniture were missing. A report was made to the Mon Repos police station. The owners  up to late yesterday were unable to estimate the entire cost of the  stolen items. PC Sookdeo of the Mon Repos CID is conducting  investigations.
