Church meetings for Tranquillity’s parents

Parents of students attending Tranquillity Government Secondary School are reminded of the meetings being held at the Tranquillity Methodist Church, during staggered periods to accommodate all parents.

Meetings will be held today and tomorrow. Today’s meeting for parents of students in the particular forms are as follows:
* Form Six - 8 am
* Form Five - 9.30 am
* Form Four - 11 am
Tomorrow’s meeting for:
* Form Three - noon
* Form Two - 1 pm
* Form One - 2 pm.
Representatives of the Education Ministry, school supervision, school intervention strategies, schools guidance, employee assistance and communications continued meetings with the principal and staff at the school. Classes at Tranquillity were suspended on November 13, following threats to a female teacher by a female student. Six security guards have been posted at the school since the incident as requested by the teachers.
