National Tennis Open in December

NATIONAL Open Tennis champions will be determined when the 2003 event serves off on December 1 at the Port-of-Spain  Public Courts. The contest, staged under the auspices of the Tennis Association of Trinidad and Tobago, is scheduled to run until December 13 with 32 players competing for the men’s singles crown, 24 for the women’s equivalent, 24 for the veterans’ singles, 24 pairs for the men’s doubles and 16 pairs for the women’s doubles. Deadline for registration is tomorrow at noon at Harry’s Sports World, San Fernando and at 5 pm at the Public Courts.
