Hardware owner robbed

A Sangre Grande hardware owner/manager was robbed of $25,000 while at work.

At 3 pm on Saturday, Debbie Mohammed was conducting sales at the family R, Me and Sons Hardware located at the 1/4 mile mark on the Guaico/ Tamana Main Road, Sangre Grande, when two men, armed with a cutlass and gun, ordered her to hand over the cash. The men then escaped through some nearby bushes. The money represented the day’s sales. Visiting the scene were constables Persad, Villafana and Baboolal.
