Chained-up teen mute escapes

A teenage mute who was kept chained at his home at Marabella freed himself over the weekend and was found near the Lady Hochoy Home yesterday. Kendal Alexander, 18, was found with a chain and padlock and was taken to a “safe house” by St James Police who were called by officials of the home. According to reports to the police the boy was chained each morning but broke away on Sunday. Police contacted the relatives and were investigating yesterday.
