Police leap into 3rd in EFA

POLICE smashed Maloney Two Touch 7-2 to leap into third position on the Eastern Football Association Football League. The lawmen got four goals from Edmond Homer, a double from Kevin Morang and the other from Sean Rosales in Monday’s game.  Dave Alexander scored both for the Maloney lads. Last season’s  Arthur “Jap” Brown Trophy champs WASA Clean & White edged Carib FC 3-2 in another Game at WASA ground, St Joseph. Mishulla Doobay, Nigel Smith and Kurth Hutching got one goal each for the winners, while Lynton Jones and Kieve Van Loo scored for the Brewery Boys.

There were two defaulted games on the day’s programme, with TSTT collecting full points from Athletico Sports Institute, and BM Spurs getting the points from League Cup winners Crab Connection. The league season continues to wind down with three games listed for Sunday. Deltas Glass Young Hearts take on Joe Public at Boundary Road Recreation Ground, Hearty Food Bulls meet BM Spurs at Valencia Recreation Ground and TSTT face Crab Connection at Valsayn Recreation Ground.  Kick off in all games 3.30 pm.
