Mobile police station for Carenage

OFFICERS attached to the dilapidated Carenage Police Station who relocated themselves to the Four Roads Police Station in a controversial move last month will soon have a mobile police post.

While the officers will continue to operate from the Four Roads Police Station, the mobile post will be set up to start renovation work on the existing building. The building currently houses one sentry. At the same time, work is expected to start in January 2004 on the construction of a permanent police station located at Guave Road, Chaguaramas.
