Tenants find body of landlord

TENANTS at a Curepe house broke down the door of an upstairs apartment Wednesday to find the decomposed body of their landlord Banwarie Manoo lying face down on his bathroom floor.

The retired government farm worker, 64, who lived alone, was last seen alive on Friday by his tenants walking in the yard. The police and DMO were called in and the body was ordered removed to the Forensic Science Centre. An autopsy performed by Dr Hughvon Des Vignes confirmed that Manoo had been dead for five days as a result of a heart attack.
