What I said on TTIT

THE EDITOR: In view of the serious nature of issues such as the composition of students and faculty at TTIT, it is necessary that statistics are accurately quoted. There is a small typographical error in the article written by Clint Chan Tack on my contribution in Parliament with respect to the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Technology (TTIT). The article quotes me as saying that “of the 22 lecturers at TTIT, 12 were East Indian.” What I actually said was that “of the 22 senior staff members, 18 (or 80 percent) are East Indian.”
