‘Tadpole’ leaves for S/Africa

A confident Dave Mohammed was scheduled to leave for South Africa yesterday to join the rest of the West Indies team for the upcoming Test and One-Day cricket series.

The left arm unorthodox spinner from Princes Town is a replacement for fast bowler Jerome Taylor who was injured during the First Test of the recently completed Zimbabwe series. Mohammed, nicknamed “Tadpole” was listed to leave Piarco International Airport at 10.35 am yesterday intransit Barbados and London before landing in South Africa. He will arrive in South Africa tonight, Trinidad and Tobago time.
