Corpse found floating in sea
A PARTIALLY decomposed body which was found floating in the sea off Cedros yesterday is strongly believed by police to be that of missing Felicity fisherman Budhram Nebar, also called “Chinee,” who went missing on Saturday.
The body was found floating three miles off Bonasse Coast, Cedros, by two fishermen yesterday around 8.30 am. The corpse was brought to shore and on closer checks, the police noticed the body was clad only in a maroon denim long pants. Although there was no positive identification of the decomposed body up to late yesterday, police believe the corpse is that of the missing Felicity fisherman, Nebar. Nebar and another fisherman, Hemraj Esau, both from Felicity, went missing on Saturday after embarking on a fishing trip. On Monday around midday, the body of 23-year-old Esau washed ashore at Carli Bay, Couva. PCs Seecharan and Sorzano of the Cedros police are investigating the discovery of the body yesterday in Cedros.
