Sealy eyes Grazette’s crown

TEENAGE tennis phenom Simeon Sealy will attempt to lift the National Open Tennis Championship crown off the head of defending champion Ivor Grazette. This pair will clash in the final of this year’s tournament at the Public Court, Princes Building, from 4.15 pm tomorrow. Champ Grazette easily beat Tobago-born Dunstan Denoon, just back from the United States, 6-2, 6-2 in his semi-final. Michael Cooper romped past Asthelstan Phillips 6-1, 7-5 to take the veterans singles title also on Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, Farah Chautilal and sister Sarah will meet Sanian Lewis and veteran Valerie Pedro-Harris in a women doubles semi-final today.
