NEMA visits freak storm victims

NO CHRISTMAS celebrations or shopping this year for Dexter Cooper and Franka Greenidge, since the rest of the season will be spent rebuilding a home for the respective families. Cooper and Greenidge were both victims of Friday afternoon’s freak storm that raged through Blitz Village, Pleasantville. Officials from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) visited the owners of the damaged homes yesterday, promising relief. Cooper and Greenidge said the NEMA officials told them to acquire an estimate of the materials required to rebuild and send it to the NEMA office during this week.
