Successful bingo at Malick

THE EDITOR: Malick Secondary Comprehensive School would be grateful if you would print this account of our school bingo which took place recently. On Friday November 21, 2003, Malick Secondary Comprehensive School held its 11th Annual Bingo in the school hall. After a slow start, the hall  was filled with parents, students and bingo lovers and soon the crowd spilled over into the car park attractively decorated with lighted shrubbery.

There were ten hamper games of three prizes each, one game more than nine advertised on the tickets, due to the generosity of some of the businesses in proximity to the school. Winners proudly received their hampers filled with foodstuff and toiletries. By 11 pm the $5,000 jackpot game started and five lucky individuals shared the jackpot. All agreed that it was a pleasant and successful evening.
