Branker, Weedon advance in RBTT tennis

RENEE BRANKER and Anastasia Weedon , the number one and two seeds in this years RBTT Junior Tennis Tournament, Girls Under-18 division advanced to the next round of competition yesterday at the PSA Tennis Facility.

Branker will meet Dayna Grazette and Weedon will match up against Nicole Agostini today, in other matches Diedre Richardson meets Brittany Delaney and Damali Cox will meet the winner of the Keisha Lewis/Shenelle Mohammed match. The Boys Under-10 division saw Luke De Caires and Timothy Trestrail advance on a walk over but all winners advanced out of their matches fairly unchallenged.

Annalisa Hamel Smith beat Kambiri Cox 8-1 and Raye Ann Sandy Kadeisha Sylvester stranded 8-0 to both advance to the next round in the Girls Under-14 division. Blair Burris recorded a straight set, 6-3, 6-2, victory over Kiev Ramdial in the Boys Under-18 division, Anabelle Castagne took out Kaeleigh De Silva 6-1 in the Girls Under-10 division and Alex Daharu routed Matthew Adamira 8-2 in the Boys Under-14 division.
