Nesbitt cops ‘Cricketer of the Year’ award

ANDY NESBITT copped the 2003 “Cricketer of the Year” award at the Squadron Cricket Club’s 2003 prize distribution ceremony at Arouca.

Trophies were given for outstanding performances in the North East Zone first division cricket competition. Among those receiving awards were Billie Burns for the highest score of 145 runs and Marcos Aimey  for best all-round performance. Other recipients of awards were Ronald Bharat, Akiel Lorrell, Keston Saunders, Darwood Abdul Aleem, Akiel Husbands, Charlie Cheewah, Marlon Armstrong and Isaiah Cain.
