LIFE IN RUSSIA and Senor Gucci had a sparkling gallop at Santa Rosa Park, Arima, yesterday morning. The pair skipped through a 1000 metres gallop in the good time of 1:01.33 seconds to show they were ready for their engagements on Boxing Day (Friday). Also yesterday, Cash Wager stepped over the same trip in 1:03.57 seconds, but Triple Crown hero Top Of The Class took things easy over 1400 metres in 1:40.96 seconds, and was quite comfortable. Sugar Mike who is sure to start at the head of the market in the feature Guardian Gold Cup over 2000 metres, looked very easy in his 800 metres spin in the good time of 50.97 seconds.

And French Acadamy took on the older Due Dilligence over the 800 metres trip and posted a fine 49.75 seconds for the spin. But Pave The Way showed he cannot be overlooked in the St James Stakes to juveniles, when together with the older Phantom Menace he sizzled through 800 metres in 47.74 seconds yesterday morning. Over the 600 metres trip, The Chairman flashed his speed in clocking 35.57 seconds, while Ring Dang Do and Super Grey stepped the trip in 36.87 seconds. And Sunday Jewel showed off her speed in a 400 metres run completed in 23.30 seconds, while Mir On Fire showed good toes in clocking 23.46 seconds for the same trip.
