A memorable day!

THE EDITOR: Sunday December 13, 2003 was a very memorable day! While the West Indies were trying their best to avoid the follow-on, there was the breaking news about Saddam Hussein. There was I switching from CNN, Fox, and ultimately back to cricket. I was very fortunate to see Brian Lara at his element once again! Captain stroke analyst! History maker and West Indian man. I called my children to be present for that moment of 28 runs in one over. Power to sport! Power to youth in sport! Power to sport against crime! Two history making events on one day — Firstly — The Prince of Iraq at his end. Secondly, they may have touched the crown jewels but the Prince of Port-of-Spain lives on.
