Happy New Year to TT now that false prophets have been exposed
Those who dehumanised the poor claimed their generations were cursed
Undermined the foundation of marriage claimed vows were cursed
Caused the collapse into moral decay afflicted God’s true children
Claimed heaven was somewhere in the sky instead of in the heart
Earthly wealth was God’s blessing instead of love, joy and peace
Spread selfishness and greed love of money the root of all evil
Rode the political beast influenced decisions based on false promises
Instigated widespread divestment in favour of technological development
Based on the myth that giving to the poor was a bad investment
Deprived the poor of just rewards for providing moral support
Repeated history’s mistakes hid the truth ushered in the Dark Ages
Spread violence and crime suicide bomber syndrome among grassroot youths
Those without experience, hope and confidence who see no future for themselves
Let God’s peace now rest upon those escaping the rampage of the beast
May they prosper in God’s Kingdom grow up in mansions of love
Let Christ reign supreme in their hearts the Holy Spirit counsellor and guide
The Truth of God’s Word takes first place before every ordinance and tradition
The scourge of science and technology never replace God’s wisdom
May elders be loved and respected followed as they follow Christ
It’s too late to rescue the rich already descended into hell’s torment
Those with hearts of compassion can be saved by obeying Christ
To enter God’s Kingdom of love, joy and peace sell all earthly possessions
Distribute to the needy, feed the hungry clothe the naked
Breathe blessings of fresh air from the life giving nostrils of God
Into the mortally wounded body of the national community
Pay debts due to those at the bottom for many years as true pillars of the nation
Help grassroot youths stand on their feet ensure a bright future for TT.
