Poor TTEC service to McBean

THE EDITOR: I would like to express my utter disgust at the poor quality of service provided by TTEC to the Calcutta Road No 3, McBean, Couva village. This village is plagued by the frequent and abhorrent disruption of the electricity supply approximately three times per week.

This disruption occurs, at most times, around 7.30 pm. This ridiculous inconvenience lasts between ten minutes to six hours. The main disadvantage of TTEC’s status as a monopoly is that there is a tendency to provide a low grade of service. This negative consequence has, unfortunately, occurred one to many times. TTEC may not realise the invaluable discomfort placed on residents in this area, especially the great threat to all household appliances and the increased vulnerability to crime. Sir, I am writing this letter under the lights of a torch and a candle. I sincerely hope that the relevant authorities make the necessary changes.
