High praise for Mr Dass

THE EDITOR: Kindly allow me a space in your newspaper to thank Mr Krishna Dass, the clerk of the peace at the Chaguanas Magistrate’s Court, for the wonderful job he did during the Christmas holiday. The Court house suffered a heavy backlog of work while there was a shortage of staff during the holiday.

Mr Dass and his fellow workers stood up to the pressure and tried to accommodate members of the public with swearing of documents, issuing of summons, advice to members of the public, domestic violence matters, paying of tickets, cashing for various fines and licensed acts. My hat off to Mr Dass and the rest of staff for doing a most wonderful job.
