Make your dreams come true

THE EDITOR: Are you aware that you have the capability to achieve whatever you want in life? That you have the power to make your dreams come true? That at the flick of a second you can change your emotional state?

Well, you sure do! Our dear Lord has given every one of us the strength and the capability to achieve anything we want out of life. But the question is “how many of us realise this?” We perhaps live life accepting whatever comes our way and leaving everything in the hands of fate. But friends I have wonderful news! You make your own destiny. Not your family, not your environment, not your employer. You. All it takes is firstly to be conscious of what your desires are. This is a critical step, since without knowledge of our aspirations, we cannot achieve them.

The next step is planning. We must plan before jumping into action. We may need to think through the challenges that we may face in realising our dreams, and plan to conquer them. The next step is action. Knowledge and planning without action is equivalent to death. We can accept as mentors those who have already gone down the path that we want to and learn from their experience. This will make our voyage shorter and more effective.

Finally we must accept the fact that Rome was not built in one day. There will be setbacks and challenges along our way to living our dreams, but most times they are just further lessons for us. With God on our side, who dares to be against us? So my friends, today decide to enrich and empower your lives. Remember life is what we give it and whatever we inject into it comes back to us multiplied. Take the time to plan your life. You are important and you deserve a great life. Just remember that your actions should always benefit mankind. Focus on your goals daily and tell yourself that God is on your team. Success will be guaranteed!
