Unbearable nuisance in St James

THE EDITOR: The following letter is to the EMA.

The Chairman, Environmental Management Authority, #8 Elizabeth Street, St Clair, Port-of-Spain. Dear Sir, Re: Noise Pollution. As a resident of St James, I am bombarded by the annoying and potentially harmful effects of very loud music/noise coming from the occupant of premises situated at the corner of Hyderbad and Nepaul Streets every weekend. I doubt very much that that person has permission from your authority for a variation in accordance with the Noise Pollution Control Rules 2001 to carry on what can only be described as an unbearable nuisance every weekend. I hope that you can look into this complaint at the earliest possible opportunity.
