Karate expert Williams returns

Sensei Darryl Williams, 5th Dan, chief instructor of The Karate Centre in New York will be visiting Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados and Grenada from January 21.

The karate expert  will be conducting a series of technical workshops for the Trinidad and Tobago Karate Alliance (TTKA) while in his homeland. Williams will be also meeting with senior instructors of TTKA in a business seminar relating to running a successful karate school. This information was revealed by Keshni Sookram, general secretary of the Karate Alliance based at LP No B5, Charles Trace, Pasea Village, Tunapuna. Topics that would be addressed are time management, continuing education, marketing, advertising, coaching, officiating, bookkeeping and taxes as relating to Trinidad and Tobago and course curriculum.

Sensei Williams runs a successful karate school in New York and is looking to open a major training centre in Orlando, Florida in the next few months. TT Karatekas would have a place to train and develop their skills in keeping with international standards if ever they wish to visit the US for that purpose.
