Music Man can play a tune
MUSIC MAN should be noted in his chosen race on Saturday, as the son of Java In Flight/Indian Music showed he is on the improve as horses continued to prepare for the 10-race programme at Santa Rosa Park, Arima, third day of the new season. The three-year-old bay colt from the Maniram “Boboy” Maharaj barn had a pleasing run over 600 metres, which he completed in 37.7 seconds, the best time for the distance yesterday morning.
Another from the Maharaj stables to show some sparkle yesterday was Lovetillidie who covered the same trip in 39.9 seconds. Game High was another seen relishing the conditions at the Santa Rosa course yesterday although returning a handy 1:10.2 for a 1000 metres spin. And New Star, winner of his last two outings, cruised through an 800 metres gallop timed in 54.4 seconds.
