Police keep winning in ASNL

POLICE keep on winning in the All Sectors Netball League Alternative Division X. The Policewomen routed Cavaliers 50-24 in their re-scheduled game at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sports Arena, Tacarigua, on Wednesday. And Fire scored a thrilling 32-20 win over Civilian Conservation Corp at the same venue also on Wednesday.

Led by goal-shoot Gurshier Grant with 46 goals from 52 attempts and Giselle Norton four of six, the Policewomen never trailed in their game postponed from Tuesday last, leading 13-4, 23-12 and 39-15 at the quarter stages.  Erica Job had 20 goals from 34 attempts, Simone Peters three of seven and Onika Felix one of two for the Cavaliers. Melissa Snaggs netted 23 of 52 attempts and Tricia Roberts nine of 13 to guide Fire who led 9-6, 16-12 and 23-19 at the intervals. Beverly Roberts got 19 of 34 attempts and Melissa Roberts 11 of 19 for CCC.
