ERHA holds public Board meeting
THE Eastern Regional Health Authority held its public Board meeting for the fiscal year 2002/2003 last Wednesday at the Rio Claro High School. Noting that this meeting was held in accordance with the Regional Health Authority Act, the authority’s chairman, John Eckstein described the meeting as the “ultimate exercise in client feedback.”
He stated this was an opportunity for the Board to meet with its clientele to review the range and quality of services provided by the authority for the last year and to hear of the plans for the period 2003-2004. Present at the meeting were members of the community served by ERHA, chairman and councillors of the Mayaro/Rio Claro Regional Corporation, representatives of the Biche Village Council and other NGOs. During the open forum chaired by the Board’s medical representative Dr Clyde Rajack, there were warm praises for the management and staff of the ERHA for their commitment and for the services provided to the community.
