San Juan store robbed in broad daylight
BARATARIA police are investigating a daring daylight robbery in which two men robbed Tyche Enterprises store owner Michael Clarke of $19,000 and escaped in full view of witnesses.
According to reports, on Thursday at around 3.15 pm, Clarke was at his businessplace at Boundary Road, San Juan conducting sales when the two men walked in pretending to be customers. They then announced a hold-up and robbed the owner/manager of $19,000 before simply walking away under the watchful eye of customers. The bandits then got into a car and calmly drove off. Police were contacted and visiting the scene were Cpl Vidal and Constable Mohammed. Mohammed is investigating.
