Suspicious umpire mistakes in first test match cricket
THE EDITOR: I am an ardent cricket fan. Looking at the recently concluded first test match between England and the West Indies there were serious umpire mistakes. First, Sarawan’s LBW out, the ball was going to the leg side. Secondly, the ball that got Chanderpaul out was a no ball. Strangely enough the English bowlers were consistently overstepping the crease without the umpire’s interruption. Now when the West Indies bowlers were bowling, the Umpires were quick to call no ball.
