Woman held with bogus $$

A 55-year-old employee of the Ministry of Health was arrested at her Longdenville home on Thursday night and charged with possession of a quantity of bogus TT currency. A party of officers from the Central Division Task Force led by Ag Sgt Ajith Persad, and including PCs Curtis Pierre and Bhagwandeen, executed a search warrant at the home of the woman at around 7.30 pm on Thursday and allegedly seized the bogus cash. The woman will appear before a Chaguanas magistrate on Monday.
