Police arrest gun woman

A 26-year-old Laventille woman will appear before a Port-of-Spain magistrate tomorrow, following a raid on a Laventille house yesterday. A party of officers under ASP Sealey, including members of the Guard and Emergency Branch and PC Charles carried out a raid at a house in Mango Alley, Laventille when they seized a Venezuelan-made shotgun, eight live rounds of ammunition, and a 9mm pistol. They also seized electrical items and sneakers. The raid was carried out shortly before 4 pm yesterday. PC Charles of the Besson Street CID is continuing investigations.
