Justice Hamel-Smith acts for CJ

JUSTICE Roger Hamel-Smith has been appointed to act as Chief Justice in the absence of  Satnarine Sharma. The appointment, which becomes effective today, was made by President George Maxwell Richards following consultation with Prime Minister Patrick Manning and Opposition Leader Basdeo Panday.
