TTEC, TTPost, WASA top customer satisfaction survey

the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has been rated among the top three in customer satisfaction compared with other public service bodies in Trinidad and Tobago, according to an Opinion Leaders’ Panel Survey conducted for the Ministry of Public Administration and Information. This was revealed in a release from WASA which quoted results of the survey, published in a January 2004 Opinion Leaders news bulletin. The survey revealed that 70 percent of the people polled were satisfied with the overall services while 15 percent were dissatisfied. In the ratings, WASA placed third behind TTEC (81 percent satisfied) and TTPOST (79 percent satisfied). TSTT was next with 61 percent of the people satisfied.

WASA’s rating, the release stated, put the utility ahead of other organisations such as Local Government bodies, the Police Service, hospitals, PTSC and Fire Services. The Opinion Leaders’ Panel Survey was conducted in mid-2003 and treated mainly with the issues of Vision 2020, the National Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Local Government Performance and Crime. The results were based on 693 face-to-face interviews out of a sample of 900 people, with members of the Opinion Leaders’ Panel of Trinidad and Tobago. The project is acclaimed as an important tool for Government in determining ways and means to make its services more responsive and more efficient.
