New managers at Republic

Republic Bank Limited recently ann-ounced the appointment of two new managers. Tarawatie Mohammed has been named Area Operations Manager for the regions of Penal, Siparia and Fyzabad. Sorayia Parson is now Manager, Management Accounting at Republic’s Planning and Financial Control Unit at Head Office. Celebrating her 27th anniversary with Republic Bank this September, Mohammed first joined Republic as a Counter Clerk in the Point Fortin branch.

Having held various positions throughout branches in the southern area of Trinidad, Mohammed now brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new position. Recently appointed to the position of Manager, Management Accounting at the Bank’s Planning & Financial Control Unit, Parson, the holder of ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) qualifications, joined Bank of Commerce in July 1997 as Acting Manager of Finance. When Bank of Commerce merged with Republic Bank later that year, Parson was named Assistant Manager Planning and Financial Control. Parson’s responsibilities include overseeing the financial operations and management of accounts of Republic Bank.
