Bomb scare at West End Police Station
Unconfirmed reports stated that angry police officers who were recently transferred from the West End Police Station have been blamed for a bomb scare at the station early yesterday morning. According to reports, the sentry at the West End Police Station received an anonymous phone call stating that a bomb had been planted at the station, shortly after midnight on Sunday.
The station was evacuated immediately and Fire Services were called in to search the area. The search was called off at about 3.25 am, after Fire Services failed to find anything, and officers were then ordered back to their post. Senior officers confirmed that the bomb scare did take place and they believe it was connected to the transfers.
